This play came about because the United States Park Service celebrated its 100th birthday in 2016.

 

A teacher, Mrs. Lackawanna, takes her Environmental Club on a magical tour of three national parks.  Wearing special ranger hats, the kids become "time travelers"and travel by "hat" to Yosemite, the Everglades and the Statue of Liberty.

 

Along the way, the kids and Mrs. L meet people who cared about these places and worked hard to save them.
